I wanted to be a teacher when I was a kid, and that instinct never really left. I just found a different path to it. Growing up, I helped my mom manage our mobile home community, collecting rent, staging the model, delivering notices, long before I understood how much that would shape the way I think about responsibility, service, and leadership. I didn't set out to build a career in property management, but looking back, it was there from the beginning. After fourteen years of operating and managing apartment communities, it was time to find my way back to teaching.

Today, I get to teach in a different way. I train and develop teams, share what I've learned, and help people navigate the everyday complications of the job with a little more clarity and confidence. I believe strong teams are built on connection and trust, and that even the most technical training is better when it's told like a story. That's what drew me to learning experience design: the chance to build learning that's not just effective, but genuinely engaging, thoughtful, and a little fun.

Outside of work, my two daughters, Stella and Elaina, keep me grounded and curious. They're a big part of why I care so much about learning.
